The LSB wil provide weekly pick up from Jun 30 to Sep 2 2025 and every two to three weeks the rest of the year, on MONDAY mornings, at 7:00 am, except for statutory holidays, then pick up will be TUESDAY morning at 7:00 a.m. Garbage will be picked up at the junction of the individual driveway and the township roads. If left unattended, garbage should be in a varmint proof container. The contractor or the LSB board members will not clean up scattered debris. Garbage will be picked up with a limit of 2 (TWO) BAGS PER WEEK PER HOUSEHOLD.
8 cubic foot blue recycle bins are located at the junction of Burnt Island Road and Highway 540 for resident drop of. They are open the 2nd Monday and 4th Saturday of every month 1-2 pm. See attached list of dates & items.
We encourage all users of this service to reduce their garbage as much as possible. This would save on transportation costs and could reflect on the amount charged another year.
Pick up will be for HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE ONLY regular garbage bags (26" X36").
Larger items can be taken to the landfill site in Espanola eg: stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators and freezers must be tagged, etc by the individual with proof of being a land owner in Robinson Township such as a driver's license.

A bin will be located at the Robinson Township Fire Hall on July 19 2025 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am to pick up non metal bulk items. The following items will NOT be accepted: demolition or construction materials such as plaster, wood, drywall, siding, brick block, concrete, roofing materials, insulation, leaves, grass, branches, fences, tree limbs and no hazardous materials such as syringes, oils, pesticides, herbicides, liquid waste or manure, and NO white goods such as appliances, refrigerators or freezers. No large metal items wil be accepted. LSB or contractor will not be responsible for unloading and reloading items into the container.
No toxic waste eg: batteries, paint, tires, etc will be accepted at the Dodge site in Espanola.
