The Silver Water Volunteer Fire Department, led by Fire Chief Rick Graham, is dedicated to safeguarding the Robinson Township community. This all-volunteer team is always ready to respond to emergencies—from structure fires and vehicle incidents to medical calls—providing both fire suppression and first response services. Chief Graham welcomes new recruits and encourages community members to consider joining the department as volunteer firefighters or first responders.
No open fires are permitted during daytime hours from April 1 to October 31 (please refer to the Ontario Fire Prevention Act for details). When there is no fire ban in place, open fires are permitted overnight as wind normally drops and humidity increases. You must be prepared to supervise any fire you have, and have the means to keep it under control.
